Stolen Moments

Sometimes, it felt like they could really only stand one another when they were exhausted. Maybe it was because there was only so much energy you could expend on keeping your guard up, and when you let it fall it became harder to forget that these two people you shared a floor with were the closest things you would ever have to family in the entire universe.
