Lana/Linda Lang is at a crossroads. Lois Lane had recently left Clark Kent and her family of children behind in a mad quest to kill a husband that had died before the Rebirth of the New Universe. So With Superman vs. "Superman" and Superwoman now opposed to Superwoman, where was Linda's life headed now? She certainly couldn't hide in Smallville anymore.
