Summary
The magician Giovanni Zatara was Zatanna's father and one of Batman's trainers before he mysteriously vanished in 1994. 9 years later, a Mr. Z emerges as a traveling circus' star act. As Batman and Zatanna investigate, they learn that a deadly truth lay behind Zatara's disappearance all those years ago - a truth that may still hold lethal consequences for both Zatara and Zatanna.
