The legacy of the Potters

In the first chapter, James' feelings for Lily over the years are explained. The actual story begins in their seventh year at school. The end of the story is either the defeat of Voldemort or Harry's seventh year at school, but it may go further. The story is told mainly from James' point of view at the beginning and later from Harry's.
