In 1985, Shield received strange deep space feedback. Soon after, a meteorite crash landed, but further investigation of the site gave the organization no evidence as to what it was. Years passed, several sightings of, something springing up, but Shield could never track down what the meteorite had brought. It ended up in Shield's cold cases, until later revelations surfaced.
