Across the Universe

George is grief stricken at the end of the final battle over both the loss of his brother and the disappearance of his love, Mavis. The story is mostly a flashback to the beginning of their story together, leading up to the precious moment of George letting her hand slip through his as the battle begins. Each chapter is based on a Beatle's song.
