Ivorie is Hanna's adopted sister, and she mute... by choice. When she was first adopted Hanna could tell she felt out of place so she took Ivorie everywhere and became her best friend, not just her adopted sister. Ivorie was not best friends with Alison but they were still close, which pulled her into the 'A' crap.
