Lily Evans had to remind herself over and over. It was Sirius's plan all along: He wanted Lily to get rid of Cara so that James would date her. The scary thing was that it was working! She's such a hopeless romantic and being friends with James Potter? Impossible. (I wrote this in 2008 & I just found it in my files so I'm uploading it for a laugh b/c its just...a trope special).
