Verilius is a member of the Deathwatch, an elite organization of Astartes dedicated to fighting the xenos threat across the galaxy. For most, the Deathwatch service is an honor, but for Verilius, it is a punishment. Isolated from his brothers, and forced to fight beside those he despises, he will come to face the greatest challenge of his life, and make a fateful choice.
