With the war over, Harry, Ron, and Hermione have moved on with their lives. Everything is just as it should be. At least until August 31, 2006, when the Annual Victory Celebration is attacked by Death Eaters. Hermione's life changes forever that night, and not for the better. When the situation worsens, Hermione and Draco team up to figure out who is behind the attacks.
