Alternate world. When Daphne turns 19, she is taken by her father to London to be matched to a suitor by the queen (as is the custom). The queen matches Daphne with Simon because they are the most attractive candidates. Little does she know that Daphne and Simon clash like fire and water. Hate turns to burning love, and Simon soon learns that loving Daphne is easier than breathing.
