Diverting Distractions

Mal means to focus on getting the plan, that's not going to change no matter how distracted her friends are becoming, but in the meanwhile she does find herself having time to consider Doug. Just for a moment, her focus is mainly to get the wand. Mainly Mal/Doug, but hints of other pairings. OOC, mature themes but nothing explicit, very canon divergence. It's an AU essentially.
