It had been such an innocent day. The sun rose and with it did Merlin, getting prepared for another day of serving the royal prat. How could everything have gone so wrong? Now his king was dead and Merlin was not allowed the luxury of death. But he would watch over Arthur's legacy and one day, see his friend once more.
