Why do humans believe what I say?

Why do humans always believe in what I say? Is it because I appear innocent so they think I have no reason to lie? Or is it because I hardly ever lie? Why did they believe me when I said I'd stay? (Rated T coz I dunno, OC's, semi AU i guess)
