Instead of being forced to kill Dumbledore at the end of his sixth year, Draco Malfoy is asked to repair the Vanishing Cabinet and kidnap Harry Potter instead. The Dark Lord gives Harry part of his soul, creating a living weapon. Unfortunately, the side effects Harry incurs from hosting such evil in a body and mind so innocent creates a turmoil neither he nor Voldemort can control.
