One shot: New Year's Eve 1999. There was talk of dire happenings at the dawn of the new Millennium. It was dubbed Y2K for the computer related problems and doomsday preachers were saying the end of the world was near. Bella went to a Goth bar in New Orleans looking for some adventure and a little romance to end the year with. She met Edward. Sparks flew making for one hot night.
