Summary
Jay shows up as Hailey is preparing to attend her father's funeral. Over the next few hours, Jay learns more about her than he has over the entire course of their partnership. This story is set in the first half of Season 7 and is centered around the Upstead friendship. Voight, Adam, Kevin, and Kim all appear as well.
