I'm too old to be writing fanfictions, but my own experiences with generational trauma got me thinking about Olivia Benson's character history and how the trauma of one generation tends to follow the next until someone comes along who becomes determined to change the future. This is a family tree narrative that explores motherhood throughout a family line.
