As the daughter of The Brightest Witch of Her Age, Rose Weasley was expected to be as talented as her mother. Failing that, probably as much of a Gryffindor as her father. She wants to be neither. Which is why everyone was surprised to find out that she has been chosen for Auror Training. Everyone, including her.
