Instead of the easy, simple Killing Curse that Voldemort was supposed to use to kill James Potter, the pair decide that a full-scale and somewhat hilarious battle sequence is required. Parody of all those stories that involve a long and meaningless conversation/sequence/battle between James and Voldemort on Halloween of 1981.
