Breakfast is a dull affair. Always. There is no other way it could be, for many of the Ravenclaws stay awake all night and sleep only as dawn greets them. When they get up only a couple of hours later, they need their coffee (and some of them even one of those handy potions from Weasley Wizard Wheezes).
