Percy Annabeth have already lived their lives. They finished high school, went to college, had kids, lived a steady life, and so on. As they got older, the monsters backed off and the couple could live free from the bittersweet world of mythology. Annabeth recollects the old memories she shared with her beloved, and hopelessly yearns for the endless fighting/struggle of her youth.
