Summary
It's 1938, Cora travels to America to settle the estate of her brother. His death and later the gathering of her family to celebrate her 70th birthday causes Cora to her to reflect on her life, her marriage, and motherhood. Although she realizes she can't change the past she does hope to make amends for her greatest sorrow.
