Cursed

During the Volturi confrontation everything went badly. The Cullens and Jacob were lead to believe that Nessie was killed during the battle. The truth is Renesmee was cursed by a witch the Volturi had in their midst. The curse turned Renesmee into a newborn puppy. For two years Nessie has roamed the streets as a stray dog.
