Dr Stamford arrives at Baker Street with an urgent plea for help: a guest lecturer at the Grant Zoology Museum has gone missing, amid sinister circumstances. In their search for the missing woman, Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson encounter an unusual suspect - a young African ape-man, who is visiting London for his own purposes.
