It was cold, and oh so dark. There was nothing in the world surrounding him, nothing at all. There seemed to be nothing in his mind, either. Nothing but that strange nagging sensation. He was hungry...so, so hungry. They would not hold him back, and he would get what he desired so wantonly...no matter the cost.
