Letters to Erebor

He said it would be a simple trip back the way they came back with the Company. That's why Bofur decided to travel with his old friend Dwalin back to the Shire and eventually Moria. Along the way Bofur writes letters telling Bombur about his journey. Until one day the letters stop coming. (no slash)
