Summary
In certain European languages, the word "dragon" and the word "devil" were synonymous. While Dracula may have gone over to the devilish side some time ago, the current situation he found himself in was reminiscent of certain draconic tales. There was a village of peasants in peril, a sacrifice, a gluttonous beast...although at first blush, it seemed that it also lacked a knight.
