Some Things Take Time

What would have happened if Voldemort had been killed that Halloween night so many years ago? How would it have affected the lives of the students of Hogwarts? The students must learn that sometimes things don't turn out the way that they planned. Be it a change for the better or a change for the worse, they must understand that some things take time to work themselves out.
