Throw the window

The passage from one year to another means nothing more than changing the date you write in the exams. Or that was the idea I had until recently. I mean, I understand that for most people it represents leaving behind "the past self", the desire to become a better person, the thought of a better time... But at the end of the day it's just a number. Life changes because it does.
