Opposites

Darkness cannot be so without its opposite. There is no shadow without sun. No dark corners without a light in the room. The sky can't be night unless the stars are shining, otherwise it is nothing but a hulking expanse of nothing. There is no meaning to the dark without light to oppose it. Rey's awakening in the force changes everything.
