Death or Glory

Humans are the country bumpkins of the galaxy. The aliens see them as little more than ants. A prospector on one fringe human world finds a strange box that may hold the key to humanity becoming more than just a footnote in galactic history. Or it may spell doom to all life in the galaxy.
