Humanity has become an interplanetary civilisation, achieving 1.0 on the Kardashev scale. Selected to represent Japan on its first manned foray beyond the Solar System, the scions of the Yukinoshita and Hayama families were made to leave everything behind on a century-long voyage for the stars. A certain loner seeks to catch up - just how far would he go in search of the past?
