When her mother dies, Elphaba finds herself lost and alone. She mistakes a monster named Draco- who is actually part of a dark force from the future- for an angel sent by her mother's spirit. As Elphaba befriends Glinda at Shiz, and begins to fall in love with Fiyero, Draco seizes his chance to change the past. But will Elphaba listen to her angel's guidance or to her own heart?
