Bella's life is pleasant and ordinary, until a car crash takes the lives of her mother and stepfather. She's unwillingly given to her biological father and forced to move across the country, leaving behind everything she loves. Bella struggles to cope with her onset of severe PTSD, understanding what happened to her, and trying to decipher who she can trust and who wants her life.
