Part of my "Powers" AU: This isn't my father, but a bizarre facsimile. He wrenches my chin to the right and my cheek touches the wall. "I don't think I can break you..." His lips are right by my ear and the words chill me to my core. "I know I can." He digs in again with his elbow and I hope that he isn't going to dislocate my shoulder. The pain is becoming unbearable.
