It was their rotten luck that both of them were extremely busy, and on the one night they could actually relax and just be together, he had to talk politics and deal with crazy fangirls. With Katara inadvertently pushed to the sidelines, it's up to Aang to save the night with a little charm and nostalgia. Romance/Hurt/Comfort with a bit of humor, I guess.
