Harry's an Auror who works on a protection team. He works all the Potions Conventions. Severus runs an Apothecary and goes to exactly one convention a year. Harry's home is just a short jaunt from Severus' Apothecary/home. They accept friendship in lieu of other desires - luckily Molly is paying attention.
