In the aftermath of the war against Voldemort, it takes a lot to get back to normal. No matter what side you were on. Draco is finding his standing in his last year at Hogwarts, Hermione is dealing with her failed relationship with Ron. It doesn't take much for Hermione and Draco to find a common path and take on from there.
