Dark Inheritor

Takes place after the end of The Search For Spock but before The Voyage Home. Jim Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise, still processing their recent experiences, are making their way back to Earth. During the trip, however, they find themselves face to face with a deadly adversary, and Kirk has to deal with several past mistakes.
