Post 5x13-ish. Damon & Elena have to deal with pervasive consequences of the damage Katherine's caused, including the tragic turn of events that makes one of them a lethal threat to the other. Enlisting Enzo's help, Elena will stop at nothing to prevent the worst from happening, but is love enough to save all of them? Sometimes it's the right choices that turn out to be deadliest.
