(UN)Forgivable

My only wish was to be forgiven. But not by any god, or anything of that nature; I just wanted to be forgiven by the one who matters most to me. And yet, despite my yearning for forgiveness, I knew I didn't deserve it. Not after what I did. Or rather, what I didn't – no, couldn't – do. I decided to work hard to clear the game for her sake.
