Summary
Shelby Torrance is the ten-year-old daughter of Jack and Wendy Torrance. After Jack gets a job to be The Overlook Hotels' caretaker for the whole winter in the rocky mountains, he has to take his entire family up there. However, when the first blizzard blocks the only road out, they're trapped in this hotel and with its dark, malicious force.
