Sometimes in order to preserve a false reality, it's necessary to lead the mind astray. Skye was right to be worried for Jemma. It didn't matter that her lying skills had improved because now the young biochemist couldn't tell Reality from Fiction because of HYDRA and that was far more dangerous and damaging than mere physical injury.
