Jack Sparrow looked out to sea in despair, a shipless captain with the most gorgeous vessel docked right at his feet. Surely, it was fate? Surely, it was meant for him to sail? Had he noticed the infamous rose emblem carved into its helm, or the dark figure with emerald eyes watching him sail away from the port, Jack would have never have stolen it.
