"What the? What are you supposed to be?", the teen wondered examining the odd white and gold cylinder looking thing. She turned it in her hand, eyes locked on her reflection in the brilliant red gem resting on top. She was so transfixed on the large gem, that she didn't notice her finger pressing the hidden notch on the side of the cylinder until it was too late.
