The Way I Loved You

"It's because you're nice to look at, sophomore." Immediately everything in me feels like its' on fire. How can eight words ignite every cell in my body like that? "Oh." The word falls out of my mouth quickly and instantly I feel stupid for not coming up with a better response. My brain as well as the rest of me is still burning with a feeling I've never had before.
