After the death of her husband, Honda Kyouko falls to her despair and virtually forgets her daughter, Tohru. Before she can recover, her neglect goes too far and she is declared unfit to be a parent. With no one else to take her in, Tohru falls into the hands of her fraternal grandmother's nephew, Sohma Hibiki. How will her life be shaped raised as a Sohma?
