After the well closed, Kagome had no way to return to her family except to become a courtesan in the yōkai pleasure district and receive an amulet that prolonged her lifespan. Twenty years later, she thought her life was settled as a highly sought-after courtesan, but a certain daiyōkai caught a whiff of her and came calling, setting off events that turned her life upside-down.
