Thousands of years before Aegon landed in Westeros, far across the Sunset Sea, the greatest realm of Men was already within the twilight of it's life. When the penultimate King of Numenor has a chance yet fateful meeting with the King in the North, he comes to realize that though his land itself is doomed, there exists a place where his people may yet survive.
